ok this one is for Jayne.....not as beautiful as her pictures but finally a picture that I can see a bird in!
My daughter set up bird feeders all over our yard.
We have been enjoying the visitors and trying to guess who they are.
I believe this is a black capped chickadee.......
and they seem not afraid of us, I was less than 3 feet away when I snapped these photos.
Another pair of birds flew through our yard today, we thought they were woodpeckers at first but they are smaller....I think that they might be nuthatches, I will eventually figure these out.

Nice to find another bird lover. Most times I point out things like that to people and they look at me as if I have two heads.
